Thank you to all our member who made it out to amazing events of AMA marketing week. In case you missed it, here is everything that we did that you might find interesting and/ or want to explore further for yourself.
On Monday October 9th, We had our sponsor, Sherwin Williams come and talk to us about how they survive in a competitive sales environment. We learned the importance of meeting customers in the field and mastering your business etiquette, as well as gained more insight about the company.
On Tuesday October 20th, Lana Razumov, the VP of product marketing for IRI, inspired us with her personal journey of becoming successful against adversity as we learned the nuts and bolts of market research straight from the source.
On Wednesday October 21st, our very own E-board member Evan Duffy hosted a marketing and finance panel along with the collaboration with the organization, FIG, where our members got introduced to speakers and industry professionals who told their story and gave insights on how marketing skills can be just as in important in the financial world.
On Thursday October 22nd, we hosted an online candy corn fundraiser through our social media, where members got to guess how much candy corn was in the jar. Winners were later announce at our fun social where we played Kahoot to test our AMA history knowledge and marketing skill knowledge!
On Friday October 23rd, the UNOH AMA Chapter held a conference. Our members competed in various competitions, which included Perfect Pitch, Sales Pitch and Market Strategy! Members also attended some great speaker sessions as well!
On Saturday October 24th, members were able to earn 2 volunteer hours towards their required service hours for UIC Business, by joining AMA-UIC in creating graphics to advertise and encourage participation for the upcoming election.
